Welcome to Qpher — Why We Built This

The Problem We Saw:

Every day, adversaries are harvesting encrypted data with a simple bet: quantum computers will eventually break today's encryption. This is called the "harvest now, decrypt later" attack — and it's already happening.

NIST finalized the post-quantum cryptography standards (FIPS 203 and FIPS 204) in 2024. The algorithms exist. But adopting them? That's where things get hard.

PQC key management is complex. Key sizes are larger. Algorithms behave differently. Most teams don't have cryptography engineers on staff — and they shouldn't need to.

What Qpher Does:

Qpher is a managed post-quantum key infrastructure — PQC as an API.

We handle the hard parts so you can focus on building:

Key Lifecycle Management — Generate, rotate, retire, and archive quantum-safe keys with simple API calls. Every key has an explicit version for full traceability.

Hybrid KEM Encryption — Encrypt data using ML-KEM-768 (Kyber768), or opt into hybrid mode (X-Wing: X25519 + ML-KEM-768) for defense-in-depth.

Digital Signatures — Sign and verify with ML-DSA-65 (Dilithium3), or use composite signatures (ECDSA P-256 + ML-DSA-65) for backward compatibility.

Non-Exportable Keys — Your private keys never leave our secure enclave. All crypto operations happen server-side. Keys are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and Cloud KMS envelope encryption.

Zero Trust Policy Engine — Every request is evaluated against policy rules. The system fails closed by default — if the policy engine is down, all requests are denied.

Who This Is For

If you're a developer building applications that handle sensitive data — financial records, healthcare data, government documents, or anything that needs to stay confidential for years — Qpher gives you quantum-safe encryption without the infrastructure burden.

Our free tier includes 5,000 API calls per month. No credit card required.

This Community

This forum is where we'll share product updates, discuss PQC migration strategies, and hear what you need. We're a small team building something important, and your feedback shapes what we build next.

Welcome aboard.
