Sent here by your lawyer?
Qpher Legacy is a digital legacy vault. You encrypt what matters on your device today, choose who should receive it, and arm your policy. If something happens to you, the people you chose can claim what you set aside — through a careful, human-controlled process you designed.
You can name your lawyer as a confirmer
Confirmers are the people who approve or deny a claim. You choose them, and you can name your lawyer as one of them, alongside family members or friends. When a claim is opened, Qpher emails each confirmer a link to record their decision. Your lawyer doesn't need to sign up or install anything.
What a confirmer does, and does not do
- A confirmer approves or denies a claim from a link in an email. The link works once and stays valid for 90 days. Use an email address your lawyer expects to keep.
- Before recording a decision, a confirmer agrees to a short notice: Qpher may email them about the claim, and their decision must be their honest belief about whether you have died and whether the claim is legitimate.
- A confirmer does not receive your documents unless you also name them as an heir.
- A claimant's own approval never counts toward the approvals a claim needs.
- If a claim can't get the approvals you set — for example, because you named no confirmers — it waits at least 120 days instead, and you can still cancel it.
- When you arm your policy, Qpher emails each person you named to let them know — unless you choose to keep your designation private.
Release takes a human, never a timer
Qpher never decides on its own that something has happened to you. A real person must open a claim and sign a sworn statement. Your confirmers approve. Then a waiting period you chose — sometimes longer, never shorter — must pass, while we email you at every step and you can cancel the claim right up to release.
For lawyers
If a client asks how to set aside documents for the people they choose, you can send them this page. Whether to name you as a confirmer is your client's decision. Qpher is not a party to your relationship with your client, and Qpher Legacy does not provide legal advice.
Are you an heir or confirmer?
Claims start and are tracked on the web — no app or account needed. Opening the documents at the end needs the free Qpher Legacy app on an iPhone (currently the US App Store).
Built for peace of mind. Not a will.
Qpher Legacy stores and delivers documents. It is not a will and does not provide legal advice — for anything testamentary, we recommend consulting an attorney. It simply makes sure that what you set aside reaches the people you chose, safely and on your terms.
